So the rumored Apple Tablet is hitting top rumors once again, this time going around as the device releasing in May or June of 2010 and will also run iPhone OS instead of Mac OS X. There have been reports that the tablet looks like an iPhone. These rumors are sort of true as it looks like an iPhone 3G, complete with a curved back and that gloss finish.

The tablet is supposed to have a 10.7? screen and offering a great resolution of 720p. There will also be two different ones to chose from; one with 3G wireless connectivity and one without.

The tablet is reportedly being targeted to provide substantial book and magazine reading functionality along with an enhanced experience for the traditional functions of the iPhone and iPod touch, which is very interesting.

Again, this is just a rumor but it is 80% guaranteed so there is an extremely good chance that all of this is true.

Apple executives, headed by vice president of iPod and iPhone Product Marketing Greg Joswiak, are headed to Beijing, China this week to talk with the representatives of Unicom (one of China’s cell phone services) about plans for launching the iPhone there.

As you know that about last week, the photos of the apparent photos of the new iPhone were released and they may be true but we do not know exactly how they will look. The iPhone was approved to go for sale on May 7th. Several reports

out of the region have recently indicated that a deal between Apple and China Unicom is back and fourth, and this week’s meeting may be related to finalization of details of the partnership.

If this does get approved in China, they can finally stop selling all of the fake iPhones and actually have real ones! This will also reduce the amount of scams on websites (like eBay) or on the streets because they will all know how the real iPhone looks and functions. China will probably build up a lot more money from these iPhones because I am pretty sure that they will sell out all over China for at least the first week.

Yeah, this commercial pretty much explains everything that the iPhone doesn’t have and Verizon says that they will put all those features in their new modeled phones named, the ‘Droid’.

Do I think this will beat out the iPhone? Not a chance, as much as I would like to see the iPhone or something better to come to Verizon it pretty much isn’t gonna happen.

With this commercial aiming right at the iPhone, that must mean that something happened where Apple won’t let Verizon sell their product (the iPhone). So I was really upset when I heard that because I do in fact have Verizon.

From the looks of this commercial, it looks like it has a lot of hype revolving around it so consumers are expecting the best.

We all new this thing was coming sometime in November, and now Verizon Wireless has finally made it official. The Motorola DROID will hit store shelves on November 6th for $199 on a contract and also offers a $100 mail-in rebate. The DROID is one of the first of many Android-laced phones coming to the carrier, and Verizon Wireless CMO John Stratton even stated that the phone “is wide open”.

Android 2.0 will be front and center, along with Visual Voicemail, a 3.7-inch display (854 x 480 resolution), 5 megapixel camera (with dual-LED flash), a bundled 16GB memory card and a beta version of Google Maps Navigation.

The DROID is the first phone to offer Google Maps Navigation, which transforms Google Maps into a turn-by-turn routing system that’ll have your dedicated TomTom / Garmin left behind. There’s also a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G, WiFi,

Nestled in an aluminum shell that leverages the Apple’s expertise in unibody construction but thinner proportionality than the original iPhone, the tablet reportedly sports all of the same buttons found on the handset, right down to its iconic home button — which, like the volume toggle, is missing from the rendering.

Similarly, the tablet is said to sport all the same in/out connectivity as the current iPhone 3GS, including a 3.5-mm stereo headphone jack, built-in speaker grills, a microphone, GPS, 3G connectivity and a 30-pin dock connector. Like the rendering, its 10-inch display is framed by a black border that bleeds into its wrap-around aluminum enclosure.

Also, this Tablet may be compatible with CDMA wireless networks such as Verizon’s network, which would be really suprising although this is not confirmed just yet. More details will come about this Apple Tablet in the near future.

 

HotHardware says that AT&T may be losing it’s iPhone exclusivity as early as Wednesday at Apple’s media event where the Tablet is supposed to be announced

According to an inside source close to the going-ons involved in all of this, a new tablet of some sort may not be the only thing on deck for next Wednesday though. We have been led to believe by an inside source that AT&T will lose their iPhone exclusivity on the same day, though it’s not yet clear what other carrier (or carriers) will be stepping in to also
