19 AprApple’s New iPhone 4: Real or Fake?

Gizmodo claims to have their hands on the next iPhone, the iPhone 4. They claim it was found lost in a bar in Redwood City, camouflaged to look like an iPhone 3GS since it had a 3GS case on it.

To me this iPhone just looks like one of those prototypes from China that everyone on the internet reports to be the next iPhone. I’m not saying that this isn’t the real thing, I’m just saying that I would not be surprised if Apple were to change up the design and the software on the device since it has now been leaked. Now if this iPhone does indeed have 2 cameras (one on the front for iChat and one on the back) that would definitely change the phone game for good.

Some more things that seemed odd in this finding were that if this guy really did have a prototype of the next iPhone, why would he even have it in public? Think about it, if this holds the mystery to so many people across the world, I would highly doubt he would bring it out in public and then to leave it there? This seems really, really fishy to me and probably a lot of the other reporters out there.

The reasons I think it is real is because it looks very well built and it doesn’t look like somebody trying to fake it would be able to pull something Read more…

02 FebApple Releases iPhone Firmware 3.1.3

Apple has just release new firmware 3.1.3 and you know that means a new jailbreak is coming sometime soon, but this article is to inform you about the new features/fixes. One thing is that the iPhone 3GS will have better accuracy for the battery level, a problem where third-party programs would sometimes not launch, and a bug that could cause an application to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard.

Also, there are some security patches in the release, such as a CoreAudio fix to guard against maliciously crafted MP4 files, an ImageIO patch that similarly protects against malicious crafted TIFF images, improved handling in certain USB control messages to prevent Read more…

29 JanThe iPad Secretly Runs Flash?

One of the biggest complaints so far about Apple’s new iPad tablet device is that there is lack of support for Flash content, a limitation also placed on the iPhone. When Steve Jobs was presenting the iPad at the January 27th Apple Event, he opened up web pages that had the “broken plug-in” icon and that’s when people realized that nothing has been done with flash still.

Well, the web browsing showed in the iPad promotional video showed Read more…

25 JanAT&T Losing iPhone Exclusivity On Wednesday?

It’s pretty hard to believe that CES got hardly any talk this year, this means something is coming. A lot of companies spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to showcase their new products at CES and still, the majority of people did not go because there wasn’t anything Apple there because they have their own event, which is on the 27th of this month.

HotHardware says that AT&T may be losing it’s iPhone exclusivity as early as Wednesday at Apple’s media event where the Tablet is supposed to be announced

According to an inside source close to the going-ons involved in all of this, a new tablet of some sort may not be the only thing on deck for next Wednesday though.
