Now the explosion I’m talking about in this article isn’t as big as the one above believe it or not (lol).
Just recently, an iPod Touch reportedly started making a weird hissing-like noise and leaking out vapor before an explosion that sent the iPod flying ten feet into the air. This iPod Touch belonged to 11 year-old Ellie Stanborough who lived in Liverpool, England.
Ellie’s father immediately called Apple and asked for a refund and they agreed, I don’t know how you can explain that Apple.
They got the new iPod Touch but Stanborough also refused to return the old iPod that exploded.
Now this whole explosion thing is not something new, since the iPod Touch does use a lithium-ion battery, it has a very big possibility of fire, especially when damaged or beaten up. There were dates such as 1955, 2006, and 2008 were there was recalls of laptop and other types of batteries, some from Apple and some from Sony, which is hard to believe because they are the two top selling companies in electronics. All companies will have problems in their career no matter what, there will be no “perfect” company anytime soon.
This is such a big deal because Apple has sold over 150 million iPods in the last two years alone! That is a crazy stat to put up there, and you never know yours may be next, just kidding but be careful everyone.
